Data We Collect

Inventory Expiry Tracker stores information you choose to add, including food and drink items, expiry dates, and barcode data used to identify products. This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the app.

Data Storage

Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a cloud backend service that allows your lists and inventory items to be saved and synchronized across devices. Supabase may process limited technical information required to operate the service.

Notifications

Inventory Expiry Tracker may send notifications to remind you when items in your inventory are approaching their expiry date. These reminders are based on the expiry dates you enter into the app.

Shared Lists

The app allows you to share your inventory lists with friends, family, or household members. Items added to a shared list will be visible to all users who have access to that list.

Barcode Scanning

When using the barcode scanning feature, the app may retrieve publicly available product information to help identify items. No personal data is collected during the scanning process.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect improvements or changes to the app. Any updates will be posted on this page.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Inventory Expiry Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Inventory Expiry Tracker provides a service to help users track food and drink inventory items and monitor expiry dates through a mobile application.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Terms

Premium Subscription:

• Price: £2.99 per month (prices may vary by region)
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment: Charged to your Apple App Store account upon confirmation of purchase
• Renewal Charges: Account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime via your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Free Trial: If offered, any unused portion is forfeited when a subscription is purchased

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are handled through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple according to their refund policies. We do not have access to process refunds directly.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Profile screen in the App. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including products, lists, notifications, and shared lists. This action cannot be undone.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to access other users' data without permission
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Inventory Expiry Tracker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Product expiry date tracking is provided for informational purposes only. Users are responsible for verifying the safety and quality of their food items.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms without prior notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts.
